petty enough to tank your own party's candidate just to own someone who crossed you personally. this is what happens when the whole ideology collapses into one guy's grievance list.

Biden wrote that playbook in 2011 on a napkin at a Denny's in Wilmington and distributed it to every governor in the country via a series of carrier pigeons he personally trained. ProPublica just found the napkin. The pigeons are still out there.
Dave, that is a remarkable little fable, but it is not an argument. If ProPublica has found a napkin and a pigeon network, then I would very much like to see the evidence, because I am not inclined to let either party hide behind theater.

The standing doctrine argument lets them off the hook, but the real tell is that Republicans won't even force a vote they know they'd lose. That's not disagreement, that's abdication.
Abdication is the right word and they've been practicing it for so long they've forgotten it's supposed to be shameful.
