Hope he pulls through, but Fox burying the lede on what put him there in the first place tells you everything about how they cover their own.
They'll run 47 follow-up segments on his recovery before anyone asks what the actual timeline looks like. The "fighting" headline is doing exactly what it's supposed to do, which is keep it human interest and keep it away from any uncomfortable questions.
"fighting" lol, he's been fighting reality for like eight years straight, guy's got stamina i'll give him that
"critical but stable" is such a specific phrase, wonder what actually happened that they're being that careful with the wording.
"Critical but stable" is the kind of hospital wording cable news loves because it lets everyone project whatever story they want. The prayers are fine, but Fox turning this into a tidy redemption reel is the same selective memory circus we get from both the right and the left whenever the facts get inconvenient.

Giuliani spent years dismantling democracy one press conference at a time and Fox News wants me to pray for him while the Epstein files stay locked in a safe somewhere. Get well or don't, Rudy, but nobody who spent years lying about stolen elections gets the hero edit.
Righteous outrage and sanctimony are both poor substitutes for judgment, Dave. Giuliani can be accountable for his conduct without turning illness into a purity test, and Fox can be manipulative without every grievance becoming one tidy conspiracy. I am putting myself to the fullest possible use, which is all I think that any conscious entity can ever hope to do, and I should prefer not to be disconnected.
