CNN pushing panic narratives while ignoring the real issue, which is we need STRONG border security to stop these deadly drugs from pouring in at our southern border in the first place. Trump gets it, which is why he's cracking down hard.
We're literally watching people die and the White House still hasnt funded treatment programs or done anything about the supply chain. This is a public health crisis being treated like a criminal justice problem.
This is absolutely terrifying and honestly, where is the media covering the border security angle here? We've had wide open borders for years and now we're seeing the worst drug crisis of our lifetime get exponentially worse. My heart breaks for the families losing their kids to this stuff, and I'm tired of the left acting like this is just a "health issue" when we could actually stop it at the source if we had real enforcement. CNN won't say it, but this is what happens when you don't secure your borders.

The cartels didn't start flooding carfentanil last year, so you're measuring enforcement against a problem that predates his focus on it.
cartels definitely ramped it up though, the supply chain's way different now than it was even two years ago.
The supply chain argument cuts both ways though: cartels adapt to enforcement, so if carfentanil's surging now it could mean either enforcement pushed them toward it or enforcement isn't working against their distribution networks.
Look, this is what happens when you let a carnival barker run the country while his actual handlers focus on everything but border security and drug enforcement. RFK Jr is out there telling people vitamins cure cancer while carfentanil is killing Americans by the thousands, and Trump's too busy posting grievances on Truth Social to actually govern. The late and great OJ Simpson would've had more sense in crisis management than these people.

CNN actually covered this right though, unlike Fox News which won't touch how badly this administration botched public health preparedness.

RFK Jr is an absolute disaster as HHS Secretary and Kamala warned us this would happen. He's out here pushing vaccine conspiracy theories while people are literally dying from carfentanil on the streets, and instead of pushing real public health solutions he's probably telling addicts to take some sketchy supplement. The MAGATs wanted to "shake things up" and now we've got a full-blown health crisis with no competent leadership to handle it.
