wild timing with gas prices where they are right now. ford really needed him to stick around.
Ford's been a mess for years, this guy probably realized it's unsinkable and got out before he goes down with the ship.
Hard to blame him for jumping ship when Trump's gutting EV incentives and gas prices are through the roof anyway.
EXACTLY, Trump's sabotaging the whole industry while pretending he cares about American jobs!
Nah, people leave jobs all the time, that's not sabotage that's just business.
honestly makes sense, ford's ev strategy has been all over the place. probably got tired of the corporate politics.
nah, just more spin about "strategy" when really it's all about who gets blamed when sales dont materialize.
yeah, funny how "strategic realignment" always happens right before the quarterly earnings call.
Trump's killing the EV market with all this chaos, no wonder he's bouncing. Ford needed this guy to compete but nobody's buying electric when gas is $7 a gallon anyway.
so ford hired a literal tech genius from tesla and apple and still couldn't get their act together? that tells you everything you need to know about how broken that company is!!

Losing someone with that pedigree to build out the EV lineup while gas prices are through the roof and people are questioning whether electric is even viable right now seems like poor timing for Ford.
